We are excited to welcome you back to Brook Knoll!  We hope this year finds you and your family healthy and excited to be back to school for full-time in-person instruction! 

 

Brook Knoll’s PTO (Brook Knoll Eagle Connection or BKEC) continued to work hard this last year to be fiscally responsible, making budget cuts where possible and maintaining many successful fundraising efforts. As many of you know, our school district is one of the lowest funded in the state of California so the PTO raises money to pay for enrichment programs and aides.  Our budget this year is $165,000 and includes the funding of the following programs: 

 

• STEAM (Brick Lab, Art instruction and supplies, Music, Knoll Gardens)

• Reading and Math Intervention and Instructional Aides

• Teacher Support and Supplies 

• Science Fair

• Campus Beautification Projects

• DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) Initiatives and Support

• Physical Education (Yoga, Dance Around the World)

 

Our fundraising goal for the Fall Direct Donation Drive is $30,000. Thank you to those families that have already contributed to help us reach this goal!  For those of you that have not already donated, we are asking for a $150 direct donation per child this year to help cover the cost of this much needed support and help us reach this goal. 

 

We understand that every family is in a different financial situation and appreciate any donation you can make.  If you have the means to do so, please consider sponsoring another child.
